The Eighth International conference "High Medical Technologies of XXI Century" was held on 25-th October – 1-st November 2009. The most favourable verdicts on its scientific programme are received from the chiefs of the leading medical institutions and companies which have taken part in its work. Especially, it was mentioned that the conference’s scientific subject matter becomes more diverse year by year and it allows specialists from various spheres of medicine to demonstrate their achievements and share experience with colleagues.       It was frequently stressed during the sessions that the conference “High medical technologies in XXI century” was innovative in all respects concerning the coverage of the development of the high medical technologies both in Russia and abroad. This very aspect of the appreciation of the conference’s work makes it topical in the light of priority directions of medical aid’s development, because the progress of the world’s science leads the high technologies in various application areas, including medicine, to the key points, what the President of the Russian Federation pointed out in his statements.       The participants of the conference unanimously estimated the results of its work as undoubtedly valuable and influential contribution in the development of the high medical technologies in the Russian Federation.       There was made a decision to hold The Ninth International Conference "High Medical Technologies of XXI Century" on 24-th – 31-st October 2010.
